I have a cool pet gopher snake and I was showing him off after work and
a co-worker and her baby girl had stopped by and I started to show the
snake to the little girl and the she seemed fascinated until the mother
started to scream and the little girl began crying and from that point
on she was scared of the snake because mommy was. It was so incredibly
sad, and even sadder is that she is considered a good parent for
"protecting" her children from scary-looking things.

"You spoonfed us Saturday morning mouthfuls of maggots and lies
disguised in your sugary breakfast cereals. The plates you made
us clean were filled with YOUR fears. These things have hardened
in our soft pink bellies. We are what you have made us. We have
grown up watching YOUR television. We are a symptom of YOUR xian
America, the biggest Satan of all. This is your world in which
we grow, and we will grow to hate you."
