Provide a suitable nesting site and keep feeding a high-calcium diet...there
should be plenty of info online if you search for "bearded dragon breeding."

Some vegetables and insects contain sufficient calcium but I can't think of
specific examples off the top of my head...I'm not a breeder so I don't know
what folks generally use for nest box substrate, but red dirt doesn't sound
like the best choice. Damp soil/sand (not wet, just moist) would be better.

Whew, beardeds are bigger than any lizards I've kept, so I'm only useful for
very generalized suggestions and pointing you to search engines for care
sheets etc. :) My gut reaction is that you don't want the nest box so deep
that you have difficulty locating/digging up the eggs to incubate separately
(which is what most people will do, so they can more closely monitor/control
incubation conditions).

I've had a variety of reptiles in the past:
http://www.mcmartinville.com/reptiles/pets/past.htm I haven't updated this
page recently but my 1.0 wandering garter snake died in Dec '05 after living
10+ years in captivity (wild-caught adult).

All I have now are 0.1 ornate box turtle, 0.1 three-toed box turtle, and 1.0
San Diego banded gecko.

Yeah, I haven't updated it recently...I think the "Frequent Posters" is now
a misnomer; might be just you and me these days!

I looked at your site; you have some fuzz on your forehead!
This group is very quiet indeed.
I have many pets, I think 14 or so snakes, many are rescued from bad
owners and saved from starvation. I have lost two wild snakes due to
injury(one was beaten by rocks by some teenagers and I took it home to
try to save it) and my heart ached for a long time afterwards. I
terribly want a baby beardie, as they are so adorable. I'm waiting
until after the holidays, and maybe get one at the next reptile expo.
We go to the expos that are held in Atlanta, GA, US and in Columbia,
SC, US.
So there is my intro!
